Our Story
We’re an adventure-loving couple who enjoy hiking, canyoning, skiing, and camping together. After working as canyoning guides in Tokyo, we founded Fujiyama Canyoning Japan near Mt. Fuji.
Yuki (husband) – Born in Kochi Prefecture, Yuki has years of experience in canyoning, rock climbing, skiing and playing piano. A certified SIA ski and snowboard instructor for over 10 years.
Misa (wife)– Misa brings warmth and friendly energy to every tour. Her passion for nature and people makes each trip fun, safe, and unforgettable. She loves snowboarding, cooking, eating and mountaineering.
Original T-shirts (¥4,000, S–XXL, charcoal) are available at the canyon. Pre-order by letting us know your preferred size and quantity.

Small group tour for up to 6 people. Within 90 minutes from Tokyo. Why not try a lava gorge walking, sliding down water chutes and enjoying an epic day of canyoning close to Mt. Fuji! That’s a good idea and perfect for first timers. We provide two daily Slots: 9:30am – canyoning 1.5h – 12:00am 1:30pm – canyoning 1.5h– 4:00pm You can choose a morning tour or afternoon tour. For large group bookings or special requests, more options available on our official website 'Fujiyama Canyoning Japan' Tours are closed from December to March during the winter months in Japan. If you would like to take a tour during this time, please consider skiing or snowboarding lessons in Myoko Yodel Snow School Japan.

I took part in the canyoning adventure and it was an amazing experience. I have no previous experience in the sport, but the guide explained everything very well and helped me in the most difficult places. The experience was inspiring and I got to do something completely new and learn new skills. I highly recommend it. Thank you very much Yuki and Misa!
It was the last day of our Japan Trip, and we had made a reservation for Cliff Canyoning with Misa and Yuki. The explanations were straightforward and all the gear fit perfectly. We got an introduction into the Canyon and did some Test-jumps before we started our tour. It was a lot of fun and very beautiful. A very deserving end to our travels through this beautiful country. Thank you for the great experience!
My canyoning experience with Yuki and Misa was truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, they made everything easy for me — helping me figure out how to get from my hotel to the meeting station, welcoming me so warmly when I arrived, and making me feel comfortable immediately. Since it was my first time canyoning, I really appreciated how seriously they took safety. They explained the equipment clearly and introduced me to the river step by step — starting with swimming and moving with the current, then practicing floating and jumping from the rocks before continuing deeper into the canyon. I never felt rushed, and I always felt safe and supported. The canyon itself was magical. Walking through the river, swimming with the current, reaching the beautiful pools and finally jumping beside the waterfall was such an incredible feeling. It was adventurous, peaceful and exciting all at once. 🌊🌿 What made it even more special was Yuki and Misa themselves. They were genuinely kind, warm and caring throughout the whole experience. They even took me back to the station afterward and checked that I had made it safely back to my hotel and was feeling okay after the adventure. I came alone for my first canyoning experience and left with one of my favorite memories from Japan. I would absolutely do it again. Thank you, Yuki and Misa, for making it so special! 🤍🇯🇵
Fun experience for a family. Small groups of up to 6 gives a more personal experience. The guides were really encouraging (as we were new to canyoning) and made it a really good experience despite lower water levels. Lots of photos and videos were taken and shared to us after the event.
Oh wow this was such an amazing experience. Yuki and Misa do all the tours as a couple. I was so impressed with their professionalism and kindness. I went with my husband and they supplied all the needed items. We jumped off cliffs and swam through beautiful canyons. Their English was exceptional and they even helped me work on my Japanese. We were with 4 other people so 6 of us all together. The whole thing took about 3 hours from start to finish. We had so much fun and it was so beautiful. I did not stop smiling the entire time!
I had an amazing day. Misa and Yuki were my tour guides and they went above and beyond to make my first canyoning experience a memorable one. They offered alternative pickup to match my long train route.they were very professional. I felt very safe. I had a lot of fun and the scenery was amazing. I think this experience should be in must do s for adventurous people in Japan.
Our canyoning trip with Yuki and Misa was awesome! We did the family friendly trip due to our kids ages and it was thrilling and mellow all at the same time. The canyon was beautiful and jumps and slides were fun.
