The most famous work here is the statue of Artemis, which is located in the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus. After our museum visit, we are going to the restaurant to experience Turkish cuisine.

   The House of the Virgin Mary

   We are visiting the House of the Virgin Mary, which was discovered on the dreams of Mother Catherine Emmerich and is an important pilgrimage point. Catholic pilgrims visit believing that Mary, the mother of Jesus, was brought to this stone house by the Apostle John and lived and died in this house until she was taken to heaven. This place was officially declared a shrine of the Roman Catholic Church in 1896 and has since become a popular pilgrimage site.
