We loved our day at Stonehenge with Dan. His insight and sense of humor really made the experience special. While the visitor center is comprehensive, having his detailed knowledge both in the center and out at the site made it a much more rewarding. He did a great job of “connecting the dots” of what was on display at the center with what you’re seeing at the site. Dan also knows all the folks working At Stonehenge. As in life, it’s all about who you know. Dan is also aces in the customer service department! He picked us up at the hotel in Bath along with all of our luggage then waited with us at the visitor center for the car service taking us to the airport. Can’t imagine a better experience! Thank you Dan!
Fantastic Stonehenge tour with Dan. It was fun, educational, and surprisingly exciting. He brought the history to life and made the site meaningful. Fantastic tour of Stonehenge with Daniel. He combined deep historic knowledge with wonder at the mystery and magnificence of Stonhenge. He is kind, funny, smart and knew exactly where to stand to get the best photos! We couldn't have had a better guide.
What a wonderful experience we had with Dan. He was knowledgeable, professional, and personable - the best combination for a personal tour guide. We loved his flexibility and ability to customize our tour to fit our needs and interests. He drove an alternate route to Stonehenge after learning I would like to see a White Horse, and told my husband about a street in Bath where he could see the remains of a WWII bombing on a building facade. After dropping us off at our hotel for the evening, he returned with some cardboard we needed to wrap a print we'd purchased earlier in the day. He was fun to be with, told great stories, and took photos of us. I couldn't ask for a better guide.
