Grand Egyptian Museum
Un guide touristique sur mesure vous accueillera et vous transférera de l'hôtel au Grand Musée égyptien, le plus grand musée archéologique du monde. Le GEM a été annoncé pour la première fois en 1992 et sera inauguré en 2021. La structure prend la forme d'un triangle chanfreiné, situé à 2 kilomètres à l'ouest des pyramides de Gizeh. Le Grand Musée égyptien abrite la collection de reliques de Toutankhamon exposées dans l'ordre exact dans lequel Carter les a découvertes dans la tombe.

Ensuite, vous irez au plateau de Gizeh pour visiter les impressionnantes 3 pyramides des rois Khéops, Khéphren et Mykérinos qui sont gardées par la statue taillée dans la roche (le Sphinx). La grande pyramide du roi Khéops est la seule merveille des sept merveilles du monde antique qui soit encore debout aujourd'hui, bien qu'elle soit 2 000 ans plus vieille que toute autre merveille de la liste. Après cela, vous serez pris en charge accompagné par un guide touristique et un chauffeur d'Egypt Tailor Made vers votre hôtel.

We had Heba for a full day in Cairo and she made it one of the best days of our trip. She showed up ahead of schedule, which set the tone for how well organized the whole day was. What stood out most was her depth of knowledge. She didn't just point at things and give us dates. She walked us through the history and the culture behind what we were seeing, answered every question we threw at her, and went into the kind of detail that actually made the sites make sense. She also turned out to be a wonderful photographer. She took the time to capture our day with real thought and a photographer's eye, and we came home with pictures we will actually keep, not just the usual snapshots. If you are looking for a guide in Cairo who genuinely knows her subject, cares about sharing it, and looks after the small things too, book Heba.
Great day in a huge museum with my friends
We booked this tour directly with Egypt Tailor Made. Egyptian Museum was amazing and our guide Sabry was so informative and added so much to the experience. He was also great at the pyramids and Sphynx with his knowledge. Wonderful experience. Have no hesitation in recommending
We had a great tour with Mr Tawfik of the pyramids, GEM, Sakkara and part of old Cairo. His knowledge of all the sites was tremendous. He was able to take us into some sites closed to others, which was amazing. It was also very helpful to have a guide to navigate you through all the sites and lines quickly. We highly recommend Tawfik. Also Emad our driver was great in Cairo’s crazy traffic!
This was a really excellent experience, great value for the money. Heba was a wonderful guide, sharing great facts but not overwhelming us, helping us feel like we really got to know the country, and even making us take some cool photos we would never have asked for that turned out great. She was also flexible as we adjusted a couple things. The value paid here for a private experience was excellent, no unnecessary frills just great value for the money.
Tawfik guided us for a two-day tour through the Citadel, several mosques, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the Grand Egyptian Museum and Saqqara. He took us through the highlights, explained hieroglyphics, described the significance and gave us free time for photography.
Great tour, seamless organisation and an outstanding tour guide Sabry - he was professional, very kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. He is a highly educated Egyptologist and seems to know everything about ancient Egypt, making clear distinction between facts, hypotheses and myths. Equally importantly, he tailored the depth and pace of the tour perfectly to our interests and level, without overwhelming us and making every moment enjoyable and effortless. He has an expert eye (and lots of experience too!) for the best photo spots too - we wouldn’t be tourists if we didn’t want those perfect holiday pics - and we got some of the best with him. Top notch experience all round!
Manar was a great tour guide! She was super flexible, kind, smart, and very personable. She has great english! Highly recommend her! She became a great friend of ours! She knows what she is doing and she answered all of our questions! She is great at her job and is very helpful! She spent 3 different days with us in Cairo! We did alot with her and she let us go at our pace and was very helpful and patient with our needs! Great Lady! She is family!
