Débutant voyage de canyoning à Bali "Egar canyon"

Our experience was very pleasant. From the morning our driver is on time and very nice. He drove so well that we slept both ways. We arrive at the camp, where we are offered a choice of 4 different breakfasts with coffee or tea, which is really nice. Then we're shown how to perform the techniques to be used during the activity, such as abseiling. We're then taken to the activity site, where for 2h30 we jump, climb and slide along the canyon, ending with a rest in a hot spring. We're then taken back to camp for a meal of rice and local snacks before returning to our hotel. Finally, we were sent lots of photos and videos of the activity. All in all, a superb experience, I recommend it.

First time Canyoning and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had! Soooooo much fun and the guides were awesome. It was just my friend and I and two guides. Such a nice experience to abseil, zip line and jump into water pools without the crowds. Such a fun couple of hours and got to see soooo many waterfalls! The rainforest was beautiful also. They also give you brekky on arrival- which is an omelet or noodles. Then they give you lunch when you finish and it’s a range of Balinese food which was delicious. Would definitely go again with these guys!

14/4/23 - Great service from start to finish. From our friendly driver to the guides on our trek it was top notch from start to finish. Safety was paramount, outfits, harnesses everything was great. It was such a fun experience I wish we had chose a longer path to take. Well worth the 5hr round trip to get there and back.

Canyoning with Ab and Harry was one of the best experiences we've had, anywhere in the world. This was a surprise for my husband, who LOVED it maybe even more than I did, and...let's just say he is not a very outdoor adventuresy person :) Their outfit is professional and world class. Their training is spot on. The equipment is great, the shop is clean and well run, the breakfast and lunch were delicious and hygienic. They had two guides for our group, so we were well taken care of of. The pickup and dropoff service is comfortable and reliable. ANd they take amazing photos and videos throughout, which are complimentary, so you don't need to. Plus they include adventure insurance in case of contingencies. Now for the fun stuff. The canyon is beautiful, any time of year. Who knew you could slide down rocks and enjoy it without a scrape! You rappel down waterfalls and jump off rocks into little pools, and they help you do it comfortably, get over your fear and provide an alternate option when needed. And the icing on the cake is ending the trip in a natural hot spring, with ginger tea, chocolate and warmth. Do this without thinking :)

Pickup was punctual, with a drive of 1.5 hrs from Ubud to basecamp. Upon arrival we were greeted by our guides and were offered a light and tasty breakfast. After eating we were provided with gear, which was clean and in good shape. Our fantastic guides (Oka and Eddie) provided us with an overview of gear and some practice. After, we hopped on a truck for a short ride to our starting point. During the walk down to the starting point, our guide Oka pointed out some of the interesting plants that we were passing by. The walk down was pretty short….and then the adventure began. My Wife was given the option to take an easier route, while still getting the full experience. So the activity can be enjoyed by most people, and the guides put you at ease while keeping you safe and enjoying the day. I finished the entire route, which consisted of some sliding, rappel…and other activities that I’ll let you discover on your own. The surroundings seem like pictures, but we were really there. I’m glad that we did it and can recommend. We were glad to have met our guides, who shared with us snapshots of their lives, their Families, and aspirations. They were real people who related to us as people and not “tourists.” We leave to them our best wishes as they have given to us fantastic memories.
