En primer lugar nos sentamos todos juntos compartiendo mesa en nuestro olivar familiar donde nos presentamos. Después de eso, tendremos una breve entrada con la historia del vino griego y luego la cata comienza con 5 variedades de vino diferentes de algunas de las regiones más emblemáticas de Grecia o Zakynthos. En el medio se sirve un poco de pan fresco y meze griego especial. También se le proporciona una lista de notas con los nombres característicos de las variedades de uva y productores donde puede hacer cualquier nota que desee. El ambiente es realmente relajante y nuestro objetivo es disfrutar de nuestro tiempo, divertirnos y aprender más sobre el vino que nos encanta!

I just loved it—this wine tasting was unexpectedly good. The wines totally surprised me. I really enjoy wine, and I was amazed that I could still learn so much - especially about new grape varieties and historical backgrounds. Time flew by, and all five wines were simply outstanding. Panagiotis, our sommelier, has a talent to explain everything with so much passion and genuine expert knowledge - somehow it never feels heavy. After that, you can’t help but want to visit the wineries yourself. I’ll be back for sure. I can only recommend this wine tasting to everyone.
We spontaneously joined the wine tasting and had a wonderful evening. Panagotis is a true wine expert. The wines were absolutely outstanding, every single one had its own character and story, and you could really feel the passion and knowledge behind them. Combined with the lovingly prepared food and the wonderful company, it became one of the highlights of our trip. We also learned much about the history of wine in Greece and on Zakynthos, which made the experience even more unique. This is a stellar experience with Panagiotis at the helm of it all. He is a charm, eloquent, a taste for storytelling/history and a knowledge of wine to boot. The event was on a beautiful early summer day in the olive trees of the property, with the winds of the beach breezing through our covered table. We spent nearly 2 hours enjoying stories, historical context and sipping delicious wines, many of which I ended up buying. I would highly recommend you visit with Panagiotis and let him take you on a journey of Greek, but especially Zante wines. You will not regret it!
As a teacher at the Vasilikos Summer Academy of Art, I had the pleasure of attending the event. After a general introduction to Greek wine and its history, I was given an in-depth talk about the wine of Zante. Three white wines, a rosé and a delicious dark red wine were available for tasting. I have to say that my respect for the wine produced in Zante has increased significantly. I have learned that wine production here has also improved over the last two decades. The results are worth tasting. This is an experience that is not so easy to have elsewhere. You will feel a deeper connection with the island. Congratulations and thank you.
