Qué harás
Antes de empezar la actividad nuestro guía profesional de barrancos os facilitará el material específico que utilizaréis durante el descenso y os hará un pequeño briefing de la actividad hablando de las instrucciones técnicas de progresión y normas de seguridad. La aproximación a este cañón comienza por una bonita pista forestal rodeada de pinos canarios por la que caminarás durante unos 45 minutos. El inicio del descenso comienza con un primer rápel de unos 22 metros. Una vez en el cañón descenderás varios rápeles diferentes usando cuerdas donde cada rápel será una aventura diferente ya que tendrás que hacer diferentes técnicas. Durante este recorrido podrás observar cómo la acumulación de ceniza volcánica, que junto con la erosión producida por el paso de los años formaron este espectacular cañón de tonos anaranjados y amarillos. Tras realizar los 7-8 rápeles diferentes llegarás a otra pista forestal que te llevará al final de la actividad tras una caminata de unos 20 minutos aproximadamente.

- No se recomienda para viajeros con lesiones de la columna vertebral
- No es recomendable para embarazadas
- Los viajeros deben tener al menos un nivel de condición física medio
- No apto para personas con miedo a las alturas.
- No apto para personas con problemas de movilidad.
- No apto para niños menores de 13 años.
- Traiga ropa abrigada y pantalones largos. (Hay algunas plantas de ortiga en el cañón que puede tocar accidentalmente)
- Lleve un impermeable para evitar cualquier cambio repentino de clima.
- Cada participante debe llevar una mochila con 1,5L de agua por persona y algunos bocadillos.
- Debe traer botas/zapatillas de senderismo o zapatillas de trail running.
- No se permiten zapatillas de running normales ni urbanas

We booked this trip to go canyoning (Los Arcos trip) - btw, we booked directly on his website with a nice discount too. We understood in advance everything we needed to bring (water, snacks, clothes, etc.) and got to know the meeting point/time. From there, everything went smoothly. It was a super half-day adventure, with a nice hike/walk to begin and end the trip - and in the middle, it was super fun canyoning activities. Safety was emphasized and so was the whole experience. Don't forget to look UP at the beautiful nature!! Jorge was so kind and caring, and the other trip-goers were great too. We were 7 in total. As a bonus the weather was PERFECT. Great vibes all around. Thanks, Jorge, we had the best time!! Highly recommend this company.
This experience was FANTASTIC! I'd like to do canyoneering of every trip from now on. Our guide was amazing, fun, knowledgable, and ensured everyone's safety. The pace of the hike and canyoneering moments was great and customizable to the group's needs. I'd definitely say you need some level of fitness and agility. And you absolutely need good hiking shoes.

First time canyoning and Jorge was the best guide! We’re an active couple in our 50’s traveling with like minded friends. Prior to starting the adventure, Jorge thoroughly discusses safety protocols and has everyone practice. Jorge patiently guides each person into position at each point and ensures you feel safe and secure. Jorge has extensive knowledge about Tenerife, the canyon, and local flora. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this tour again or any tour with Jorge! It was an unforgettable experience!
Beautiful and stunning canyon, Jorge is amazing and very knowledgeable! Can’t recommend enough. A few tips for any potential travellers: Bring hiking boots - We thought that the footwear recommendations were just to stop people showing up in flip flops but you really do need a pair of hiking/climbing shoes. I’m sure Jorge wouldn’t mind telling you if your shoes are ok or not if you send him a picture. Bring a coat - A lightweight one is probably best, something that’ll keep the warm in. Rent a car - We arrived by taxi and the hotel assured us we’d have no trouble finding one to take us back however you’re literally on the side of a mountain. There’s barely any people at all and we would’ve been stuck if not for a kind member of our group giving us a lift into Santa Cruz! Can’t wait to do it again next year!
Very nice and well-spoken guide, tries to give everyone a good experience no matter the level of the climber. Also very attentive to safety, offers pleasant stories and offers to take free pictures so you can show off back home ☺️ and the canyon is definetely worth it, so beautiful!
