¡El buceo Discover te permite sumergirte a una profundidad máxima de 12 metros sin experiencia previa! A su llegada, nuestros instructores calificados de PADI le darán una explicación detallada de la logística del día, el aparato que utilizará, la vida marina en Gran Canaria y todos los aspectos de seguridad. Para la excursión de buceo Discover Scuba, utilizamos el fantástico sitio de buceo Bahía de Amadores a solo 15 minutos en coche de nuestra base en el corazón de Playa del Inglés! En el lugar de buceo, se proporcionará un entrenamiento completo que dura aproximadamente 20 minutos e incluye habilidades básicas de buceo que garantizan que se sienta cómodo y preparado para dar sus primeras patadas de aletas. La inmersión tendrá una duración aproximada de 40 minutos en función del consumo de aire. Este es el tiempo más que suficiente para embelesarse con la abundancia de vida marina que Gran Canaria tiene para ofrecer, como los Tiburones Ángel, una raza nativa de tiburón común a Gran Canaria. Las fotos y vídeos se pueden comprar bajo petición. *Los participantes deben tener una edad mínima de 10 años. Un formulario médico debe ser completado a su llegada. Una respuesta SÍ en el formulario médico significa que el participante debe obtener un certificado médico del médico antes de las inmersiones.

We had such an amazing experience scuba diving with James and his team! I have to admit, I was very close to having a panic attack at the beginning. I was trying so hard not to show it because I wanted my two kids to enjoy the experience and not become nervous because of me. James was incredibly calm, patient and professional throughout, and somehow managed to make me feel safe enough that, at one point, I actually started to relax and really enjoy the dive! There were three of us (me and my two children) so poor James was basically trying to look after all three of us at once! 😂 One of his fantastic team members came over to help and stayed with me, which made such a huge difference. They were both incredibly reassuring and made me feel completely safe. What could have been a very stressful experience for me turned into one of the highlights of our holiday. My kids absolutely loved it, and my son enjoyed it so much that he is now asking to have private scuba diving lessons! A huge thank you to James and the whole team for their patience, professionalism and kindness. I would absolutely recommend them, especially to anyone who is nervous about trying scuba diving for the first time. ❤️
Had a great experience with Jesus for my first diving experience. Patient guy, easy going who takes his time explaining the basics and guiding you through your first breaths under water. Can only recommend!
I highly recommend this company if you want to try scuba diving! I had a great time and felt very safe throughout the experience. I did panic a few times during the three tests we did in the water at the beginning, but once I got over it, I had an amazing time underwater. We saw many different kinds of fish. Also, my instructor took many photos and videos! You get those for additional cost, but it's definitely worth it ! The instructors are very friendly and professional. They explain everything you need to know before you enter the water (and will explain multiple times if needed :) ) My dad joined us as a non-diver and felt very nervous for me at first, but he told me that he felt reassured about my safety after meeting the instructors and seeing how clearly they explained everything. I had such a great experience, and because of this, I definitely want to dive again!
I joined the one-day trip with Leagues Ahead and it was fantastic. Everything was well organized, the equipment was clean and professional, and the team was super friendly. I needed a refresher dive and a team member supported me perfectly. Afterwards, I could join the group and fully enjoy the second fun dive. 5 stars — highly recommended!
Leagues Ahead proved to be an excellent choice for my pre-teen son's first experience of SCUBA diving. James used a good mixture of patience and humour to go through the principles and made sure my son was comfortable with what was going to happen, including the explanation, demonstration and repetition of important safety procedures such as equalisation and mask clearance. James guided my son carefully but also allowed him some freedom of movement once his basic competence had been ascertained, which contributed greatly to his overall enjoyment. The site (TUFIA) was ideal for a beginner: beach entry and gradual increase of depth (thus easy to bail out early if not comfortable) with plenty of things to see all the way. As a bonus we also had a trainee divemaster along with us to guide and look out for exotic creatures - and keep an eye on me, of course. I was very happy with all aspects of the day from pick-up to drop-off, a very competent, friendly and knowledgeable team, would definitely dive with them again. (Will post equally positive snorkelling review soon!)
My boys and husband joined the Scuba Diving on 11th August 2025. I can go with them even I’m not joining the adventure. Free pick up from our hotel. Safety briefing in the shop. The coaches helped them to find the correct fit wetsuits patiently and professionally. After the theory teaching and deep discussion, I was confident to let the boys go. Safety is always the major concern. They did have a great time under the sea. Thank you very much!!!
