Oscar was a great guide to us during our excursion. He was very knowledgable and very kind, answering all our questions gladly and allowing us free time to look around as much as we wanted. He even let us take a detour to San Juan’s church upon our unplanned interest in said ruin. Wonderful experience, I definitely recommend it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A highly recommended excursion and excellent value for money. We are very happy with the excursion. Everything was very well organized from the beginning. One or two days before, the guide got in touch with us to confirm the time and meeting point and provided us with his WhatsApp. On the day of the excursion, he was already waiting for us before the agreed-upon time. Although there was a planned itinerary, from the beginning he asked us what we wanted to visit and gave us total flexibility. He also advised us on the best order to make the visits and thus avoid the busiest hours, and the truth is that it worked perfectly. We started with Ephesus, where he gave us many interesting explanations about the city and its history. We were able to visit quite calmly and avoid most of the crowds. Afterward, we went to the House of the Virgin Mary, where there was practically no one. He gave us enough time to see it calmly and walk around a bit on our own, without any rush. Afterward, we visited the Basilica of Saint John and finished with a meal at a restaurant that was part of a carpet manufacturing center. At first, we didn't know quite what to expect, but the food was really excellent and, something we greatly appreciated, at no point did we feel any pressure to buy carpets. During the trips, he also kept telling us many interesting things about the area, the culture, and different anecdotes. There was plenty of time to make stops and go to the bathroom, and we never had the feeling of rushing from one place to another. Another very positive point was that the guide took care of getting all the tickets in advance. We paid for them beforehand, and so we didn't have to waste time waiting in any lines to buy tickets. The car was comfortable and had very good air conditioning, something that is greatly appreciated in the heat. At the end of the day, he took us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Overall, a very good experience, well organized, flexible, and with excellent value for money. We would definitely recommend this excursion.
The guide has a lot of knowledge of history and explains it very well, speaks Spanish very well, and conducts the tour in a very relaxed and efficient way. We arrived at the sites before the rush of people.
