2 Days - Bromo Camping // 14.00 - 13.00

For context, it was my first time solo travelling, and as a female, I did have my fair share of concerns. But the past 2D1N was nothing short of amazing. Flew in to Surabaya, so there was a 3-4 hours car ride from Surabaya to Malang to be later picked up by the Smartway. First and foremost, the driver whom drove me from Surabaya to Malang (Mr Andika) had a really good command of English. We chatted our entire way, and it was super fun and lively. Then I got picked up by Smartway's driver (Mr Arif) and my guide (Febri) for the camping trip. Seeing that I'm on my own, Mr Arif and Febri actually camped alongside me (another tent), just to make sure I was safe. Febri also accompanied me everywhere, recommending picture spots and even helping me take pics and vids that were super stunning. I'm so very thankful! The hospitality even extends past Febri and Mr Arif; I actually met other members from Smartway virtually and had short chats (LOL). It helped open my eyes to what I really enjoy from travels beside the beautiful views - connecting with others, and building friendships. A big thank you to the Smartway team for making my first solo travel experience so memorable; I'm so glad I found you guys. And not forgetting Zaza, who helped me with my endless concerns prior to the trip via Whatsapp. Though our interaction was minimal, your responses really helped ease my fears. Highly recommended!

We made a reservation 6 hours before the tour started, it was beyond our expectation because they can prepare this tour very well even in a short period of time. Anam, the guy who work as an admin has helped us for the national park's ticket reservation. We need to show him our passport, so he can helped us to fill the form, because the form is written in Bahasa. Then after we got for the national park ticket, we were picked up at the hotel where we were staying in Malang city, and go to Mount Bromo lead by Timbul. This guys is very-very humble and helpful! Beyond his job as a jeep driver, he is also can work as a fotographer! His photography skills is just a wow! Thank you, bro Timbul! Overall, I highly recommended you to join this tour. Specially if you want to experience Mount Bromo beyond a sunrise. The view of the milky way at night is just AMAAAAZING and im sure you'll amaze too! This is the think you can not enjoy if you take a Bromo Sunrise tour. Thats why we booked this tour and stayed a lil-bit longer in the Mount Bromo. - On time pick up service - Very professional team, they prepare all what we need as mentioned on the detail of package - The admin is also fast response, we texting on whatsApp. They still send reply even at 11PM! - Our tour leader Sally, was very helpful. i really appreciate the tour guide that always stand by everytime i need him (to ask for something, to help taking me a picture, etc) it was also a nice experience for us. nice place. good spot to take a photo. really recommended for a private trip.

Have my very first “camping” Experience on Bromo. Good scenery,nice place to have a lot of photo. Also have a good companion with smartway tour..will never regret choose smartway tour for next trip.. Success
