Nebenbei: Dolphin Island Bootstour mit Schaumparty und Mittagessen

Enjoyable experience overall. Boat was fun and the staff were friendly. Should have been clearer to take cash as was cash only. The boat was mostly in Dutch and there wasn’t much English spoken so we couldn’t always understand what was going on.

Booked several trips with Viator and never had a problem. Driver was waiting by security at 9 ready for us. We picked up a few others on the way and most were wearing masks before setting off to the boat which was one of the three tiered decks boats as expected. Temperatures and names, etc. were taken before boarding and there was plenty of space on board to setup sun beds. The obligatory parrot photos took place with no pressure to buy (in fact we had to pursue them) and they made the first of several stops on the trip for swimming/ snorkelling for 40 mins but not rushed. On one of the trips they stopped to look for turtles we saw three surface within 5-10 mins so again not rushed. They then set sail again and stopped near a shallower reef with plenty of fish before having the food. Food was good and plentiful with a choice of chicken or fish, mixed salad and rice. Drinks when purchased on board were cheap enough at £1-2 and they had lollies, crisps, etc. Available from the bar with no pressure of people coming round but we also took some from the hotel with no issues. There weren’t as many other boats sailing this year and unlike previous years only 1 or 2 set off showing the effects of corona. They made a few more stops for swimming - one being in the mouth of the river which was cool and refreshing before setting off back to dock at 5pm. Unfortunately there were no dolphins but I don’t think this was the boats fault and there was no foam party which was a shame. Again the driver was waiting and dropped us off with no issues

Nice boat trip although we didn't see dolphins. It's a bit long. The weather was quite rough and the kids where tired so the crew arranged a taxi from the last stop to the hotel - good service.

Trip was very easy to book through Trip advisor. Cost was £16 where as locally it was 28€. Departure was listed as 08.30 but the confirmation email from the tour company had transport collection from hotel at 9.00 and it turned up on time. We sailed at around 10am. Previous reviews I read said that water was not allowed to be taken on board the boat. This was not the case with the Prestige team and we took water and snacks with us. The tour guide was trilingual. Photos were offed on the first sail with a parrot if you wanted. Costs were 4€ for a single photo or 10€ for your photo on a plate. First stop was at the mouth of the estuary where we had 30min break for a swim great fun with the large waves knocking every one over. If you wanted a lounger whilst there it’s 1€, jet ski 20€ for 10 mins. They will not barter! Crepes for sale by locals 1€ each. Don’t expect change if you pay in TRY Lunch was as described in the advertisement and really well cooked for the numbers they were catering for. Beer on board was 3€ for half a pint. Water was 2€ for 500ml. Unfortunately the trip to dolphin island was abandoned 30mins in, of the 90 min sail. The sea did have a large swell and the boat was tossed from side to side. The coastguard recalled the boats back in to the estuary for our safety. Shame as that meant we had to stop for an hour where we had just spent the previous stop. The foam part was excellent for everyone that wanted to joined in. The second foam party that was advertised did not happen. After an hours swim in the sea it was back to where we started from. We were back in the hotel by 3.30pm. The tour was supposed to be 9hrs but only did 6 and a half from hotel to hotel the boat trip was only 5hrs in total. I understand the need to cancel the trip to the island but more could have been done just off shore. The staff were very engaging and understanding when dealing with multi lingual costumers Paying the reduced rate made the experience palatable but some on board were not impressed perhaps some form of refund may have improved the situation but we all know that is not going to happen. Still enjoyed the day out 2 coach trips, boat ride with lunch £16 what’s not to enjoy😊
