Denis and his team at Charleston Photo Art are truly amazing! We first worked with them for our wedding photos in 2022, and we were absolutely blown away by the quality of the photos and the care they put into capturing such an important day for us. We had scheduled a maternity session with Denis for the winter of 2024, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to make it due to illness. Denis was incredibly kind and understanding and suggested that we use the session for a family shoot instead. We ended up doing our family photos on the beach in September 2025, and they were more than we could have ever imagined. The photos were beautiful and captured our family so naturally. So when we came back to the beach this year with our entire extended family, there was no question about who we wanted to call! Denis did an incredible job photographing all 12 of us—including an almost two-year-old, which is no easy task! 😂 He was patient, fun, and did such a great job capturing everyone. What really sets Charleston Photo Art apart is that they genuinely care about getting you great photos and making sure you’re happy with the experience. They truly take care of their repeat customers, and it never feels like you’re just another client. Denis has been there to capture so many special moments for our family, and we are so grateful for that. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for our surprise proposal at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens. From the very beginning, Dennis Aliaksandrou was incredibly easy to work with, communicative, professional, and genuinely excited to be part of such an important moment for us. I’m honestly not a very photogenic person and usually feel awkward in front of a camera, but Dennis has such a great personality and made the entire experience feel natural. He knew exactly how to make us comfortable, and somehow captured real, genuine emotion rather than photos that felt staged or forced. Looking back through the pictures, there are so many moments where you can actually feel what we were feeling in that moment, which is exactly what we wanted. He also did an amazing job working around the surprise proposal itself and capturing the little details and reactions that we’ll be able to look back on for years. The photos turned out absolutely incredible, and we couldn’t be happier with how he documented such a special day.
