Iglesia de San Bartolome

Tejeda

Very enjoyable day trip conducted by Fabien. We were collected directly from our hotel at the allotted time, and given a thoroughly informative tour of the local mountains. The villages we stopped at were picturesque, lots of view points and plenty of photo opportunities. A complete contrast to the hotel filled towns by the coast. Fabien was a considered driver, car exceptionally clean and the perfect guide. We would not hesitate to book Fabien again, and would recommend his services. Thank you Fabien Davide & Claudia
We had an absolutely fantastic tour with Fabien. From the moment we met him, his enthusiasm and energy were contagious. He’s incredibly organised and kept us well informed about the arrangements before the tour. He’s knowledgeable about the island and shared so many fascinating stories and insights that we would never have discovered on our own. What really made the day special was his sense of humour and the relaxed atmosphere he created — it genuinely felt like exploring the island with an old friend rather than being on a tour. Fabien clearly loves what he does and loves this island, and that passion comes through in everything he shares. He made the whole experience engaging, fun and memorable. If you’re visiting Gran Canaria, we can’t recommend a tour with Fabien enough. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
Yesterday we did private tour of mountains in Gran Canaria. Our first day we took a tuk tuk tour of Las Palmas so it was great to see the countryside. Fabien was our guide & he made a great itinerary for us with a stop in Tejeda for authentic Canarian food with almond pastries for dessert. Tejeda is truly beautiful village. We would highly recommend Fabien for this tour or any of his tours. He is so easy to be with & so knowledgeable about the island.

We saw a lot of the island so if there is one tour to do, choose this one. Fabien was an amazing tour guide, very friendly and informative. He made the tour very personal and catered to our interests and needs. Going above and beyond by taking many pictures of us and taking us to an amazing local restaurant in the mountains. We had the pleasure of spending two amazing days with Fabien earlier in Febryary this year (sorry I am coming back so late!) :-) One day was a full-day trip to the mountains, the other a falf-day tour — and both were truly memorable. Fabien is a fantastic storyteller and guide and really nice person to spend time with! He shares interesting information about the places he takes you to, and what really stood out is that he avoids the overly touristy spots in favor of more authentic, lesser-known locations if you are only keen on seeing them! He is also incredibly flexible and easygoing, we adjusted out experience to what you’re most interested in without ever rushing and to our psyhical condition! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a personalized and enriching way to explore the island. And he took us to the place with amazing fod too for lunch!
This tour was beyond our expectations! Fabien is so informative on both historic and current Gran Canaria life, especially with all our questions! Fabien is very accommodating and friendly and he has a great sense of humour. We saw the beautiful mountains, moody and cloudy at first, then brilliant sunshine for the rest of the day with fantastic views everywhere. A very relaxing drive and we felt completely safe at all times. You get so much more out of your day than from being on a crowded bus trip. It is well worth it and, if you do nothing else, do this tour! Highly recommended. Thank you Fabien. 😀
