Pelabuhan Sunda Kelapa
Sunda kelapa havn var den ældste havn i Jakarta bygget siden den hinduistiske æra. Denne havn var hovedporten til Jakarta og eksisterer stadig indtil nu for indenlandsk fragt. I denne havn vil vi se og nyde udsigten over den traditionelle indonesiske traditionelle båd (phinisi).

Jakarta Old Town
Nyder jakartas gamle bydel kaldet Kota tua, byen med hollandske bygninger og hollandsk historie. På dette sted vil vi gå langs kanalen, se Jakarta synkende monument, se dukkemageren og se, hvordan man laver dukkedukke, nyde pladsen (stadhuis) som det gamle rådhus i Jakarta ved Fatahillah-pladsen.

Glodok Chinatown
I Glodok (China Town) vil vi besøge det ældste kinesiske tempel (petak sembilan) eller Dharma Bhakti tempel, der blev bygget i 1650, og dette tempel er det ældste kinesiske tempel i Jakarta. Fra templet vil vi fortsætte med at nyde det våde marked for at se lokalbefolkningens aktiviteter på markedet og se de varer, der sælges på markedet med forskellige ting såsom grøntsager, fisk, frugter, dagligvarer og mange flere.

Istiqlal Mosque
Istiqlal-moskeen var den største moske i Sydøstasien. Dette er den store moske i Indonesien, der blev bygget af Indonesiens første præsident (Sokearno) og sluttede i 1978 under Indonesiens 2. præsident (Soeharto). Denne moske repræsenterer også Indonesien som det største muslimske befolkningsland i verden. Jakarta Cathedral
Denne kirke ligger foran den største moske (Istiqlal). blev bygget i kolonitiden med neogotisk stil og europæisk arkitektur. National Monument (MONAS)
Nationalmonument er Indonesiens vartegn. 132 meters højde symbol på spirit indonesia, når vi kæmper mod kolonialismen. På dette sted gør vi bare et kort stop for at gå og lave billeder. Dette er Obama-skolen, da han var barn og studerede i Jakarta. Obama gik på denne skole fra 1969 til 1971. Der er en statue af lille Obama, da han var barn. på denne skole vil du gå indenfor og møde eleverne og se lokale aktiviteter på denne skole. Bemærk venligst, at vi kun kan se inde i denne skole i løbet af skoledagen fra mandag til fredag. Bemærk venligst at lørdag og søndag skole er fri, så vi kan kun besøge statuen i weekenden uden besøg indenfor.

This was a thorough tour of Jakarta's significant points of interest and was also culturally enlightening. Our tour guide, Ms. Ratih, was extremely kind and knowledgeable about all things Jakarta and Indonesia. She checked in throughout the tour to ensure we were seeing what we were interested in seeing. Our driver was excellent and made getting to and from the various stops highly convenient. We learned alot about the city and and had a great time doing so.
Great hot day in Jakarta. Our guide Neti and driver Harry made this big sprawling metropolis manageable. Neti met us at hotel lobby on time. Her English was impeccable. She was warm and energetic and enthusiastic. Loved the Obama school, the mosque. We were so lucky there was a 100 couple mass wedding at the mosque. Another highlight is Cafe Batavia. Thank you Neti and the company she works for.
Brilliant tour. Netti did a great job of making sure we were comfortable as we visited the key sights of Jakarta. Her knowledge of the country was exceptional and it felt like we were walking around with a friend. We loved the whole trip, particularly visiting the school and meeting people in the square. I’d recommend this trip 100%.
Mr Jefri was extremely knowledgeable, on time, flexible and very pleasant. We were able to adjust our schedule to meet our needs. The driver was very skilled and we arrived at every destination safely. Considering the traffic, that was a monumental feat!
Our guide Neti is wonderful. She was at the hotel lobby on time with a great introduction of herself and today's tour. We have to rearrange the order to the tour according to the traffic condition as Jakarta is crazy busy with traffic. All done professionally and without any issues due to her excellent knowledge of the capital. Neti came across as a passionate and happy lady and love her country. She should be an ambassador for the Indonesian Tourist Board. I don't write too much about the things we done and seen of today's tour but I can say it was excellent. You just have to book and ask for her, I'm sure you will have an excellent time like us. A special thank you to our driver "funday", his driving skill is exceptional and can squeeze into tight spaces just to get ahead within traffic jams.
Really comprehensive tour around Jakarta. Ms Sharia was very knowledgeable and loved her city. We saw all the main sites and had all our questions answered with lots of extra information offered. Any photos we wanted were taken so some great memories to take home. Thank you for a great trip! 😀
My wife & I had a great a great excursion with Erni. Not only very knowledgeable, but good fun & easy to get on with. Our first stop was the Obama School, where Barrack Obama had gone to school for 2 years when he was 8 yrs old. A very colonial building. We were entertained by the school band who were practising for an Inter-school competition. Afterwards we interacted with some of the pupils who wanted to practice their English on us. Great fun. Afterwards we had the obligatory photo. Next we were taken for a photo stop at the Memorial Park to see the National monument, which is quite impressive. Then to the old China Town where we visited the beautiful Temple, then strolled through the narrow alleyways, again interacting via Erni with some of the shop holders. Again good fun. Then had a lovely lunch at one of the oldest establishments in Jakarta called the Cafe Batavia where the waiters are dressed in old colonial outfits. Afterwards a visit to the old dockyard where goods were being loaded & unloaded in the old fashioned way from old wooden merchant ships. Overall a great day. Thanks Erni.
My wife & I had a wonderful day with our guide Erni. The visit to the Obama school was very interesting & the bonus seeing & hearing the school band practise for a forthcoming inter-school competition. Afterwards we had a lot of interaction with the kids who wanted to practise their English on us. Then a brief photo stop at the National monument (which is very impressive) in the memorial gardens, before a stroll through China town. Visited the very interesting local Chinese temple & more interaction (through our guide) with some of locals, was good fun. Then a lovely lunch (at our cost) at the famous colonial restaurant Batavia Cafe. After which we were taken to the old harbour to see old wooden merchant ships which still ply their trade, being loaded & unloaded in the old fashioned way. A far cry from the enormous container port of Jakarta. A great day with a great guide. Thank you Erni.
