Mount Bromo & Ijen — 2 Days of Unforgettable Landscapes, booked through Sophie Seeks My two days chasing volcanoes in East Java were something else. Watching the sun come up over Bromo, crater smoking above a sea of clouds, I just stood there taking it in. Crossing the Sea of Sand afterward genuinely felt like landing on another planet. Ijen hit differently. Hiking up in the pitch dark, seeing the sulfur miners hauling their loads under brutal conditions, then catching those electric blue flames dancing in the crater. It humbled me in a way I wasn't expecting. Honestly, a big part of why this trip stood out was our guide, H. Genuinely funny guy, cracking jokes even at 3am on the trail, but he'd switch a moment later into serious guide mode when it mattered. He knew the volcanoes, the Tenggerese culture, and the miners' stories inside out, and somehow made two days of hiking feel like hanging out with a mate who happens to know everything. He is also the best in directing your photos and videos, so if you happen to be solo traveler like me, great photos which capture your trip are guaranteed! If you're thinking about doing this trip, just book it, and ask for H. Splendid landscapes, great laughs, highly recommend.
It was a great experience! From the beginning until the end! We saw the most beautiful and least touristic spots! Bara and his uncle Rido were fun to hang out with and they took beautiful spots! If you ever doubt, don't! You see everything you need to see and even though you get little sleep. It's worth it! Look at the pictures yourself.
Very pleased with this experience from start to end! Our guide Arya, was very friendly, tentative and good at his job. We also had great photos taken by Arya that we could post! Overall, the tour was very well organized, with great communication and zero issues.
Our 2-day trip to Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen was an unforgettable experience! From the incredible sunrise at Bromo to the breathtaking views at Ijen, everything was well organized and ran smoothly. A big thank you to Arya, who guided us throughout the trip and made the whole journey enjoyable. He always made sure we were comfortable, checked in on us, and took great care of us. As two girls traveling together, we felt safe and welcomed the entire time, which gave us peace of mind to fully enjoy the adventure. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!
I appreciate to organize and take me out to the breathtaking nature tour in Indonesia. I was able to go and see the 3 sightseeing spots (Mr. Bromo, tempak sewn waterfall) in 2 days. Might be little bit itinerary but It was helpful for me because my vacation was limited in 2 days. Basically food is not included in the fixed price except for the hotel breakfast but they took me to the local food as well. Hotel stay duration was limited because we had a plan to observe the sunrise at ijen but it was comfortable. Also, ship dumping of room service was so good. Thank you, tour guide; Arya and driver; Febry! They’re so kind and well supported to me. They recognized me as first priority and asked me about my preference. In addition, local guides were so nice! They also lead me safely. I really would like to recommend this tour to all of my friend and family even those who seek so travel like me!
My friend and I did the 2 day 1 night mt bromo, waterfall, and mt ijen tour. Our guide Riza made the experience unforgettable. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. He has thought of everything down to the littlest details like a bag of hand warmers for the cold morning hikes and a mat to sit on to watch the sunrises! He gave unbelievable recommendations for our onward travel places on our trip and has the best energy to be around. If you book, I highly recommend requesting sweet Riza as he will make the experience exceptional!
Rizky was an incredible tour guide, and was very flexible to the needs of one of your party that fell ill whilst being on the hike. Thank you very much, Rizky! The views were worth the early rise, and the hotel was nice.
the views were incredible and return to efforts is insanely high! bromo was no hiking required, Ijen has easy hiking (4km, 1hr steep 1hr flat). our guide Riza was well prepared and very on the ball throughout the trip. Highly recommend!
