King Kong Hill
Vi bruger en Jeep (4 WD) til at fortsætte turen, så vi kan værdsætte den barske rute, der kredser om det bakkede område. Derefter tager vi til Mt. Penanjakan eller Kingkong Hill, det bedste sted at nyde udsigten til solopgangen over Bromo. Daggryet vil typisk indtræde kl. 04.30. Normale natlige lavpunkter på Bromo-bjerget varierer fra 0 til 12 grader Celsius, og varmes op, når solen står op. Du kan leje en ekstra jakke for IDR 10.000,00 ved udsigtspunktet ved solopgang, hvis du har brug for en. Vi skal nippe til noget kaffe eller te i en nærliggende kaffebar, mens vi venter på morgenen. Der er et bederum til rådighed for muslimske kunder, og morgenbøn kan begynde allerede kl. 04.15. Afstanden mellem kaffebaren og stedet, hvor vi kan se solopgangen, er kun cirka to minutter.

Widodaren
Derefter går vi ned ad bakken til parkeringspladsen for jeep og passerer gennem det store strækkende hav af sand skabt af Bromo-bjergets udbrud. Vi kommer også forbi et af turistmålene med en meget attraktiv panoramaudsigt, der forkæler øjnene, nemlig Widodaren Hill.

Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park
Turen vil tage omkring 30 minutter at nå toppen. Du kan se Semeru-bjerget, det højeste bjerg på Java-øen, samt calderaen, Batok-bjergene og det stadig aktive Bromo-krater fra toppens rand.

Luhur Poten Temple
Efter at være kommet ned fra Bromo-krateret, skal du begive dig til et hinduistisk tempel ved navn Pura Luhur Poten, som er en rest af et af de indonesiske kongeriger. Hindu-templet Pura Luhur Poten ligger nær Mount Bromos base. Flertallet af hinduistiske Tengger-stammer samles ved dette tempel til religiøse ceremonier. Fra jeepparkeringspladsen kan du gå op til 300 meter til denne placering.

My family when on a day trip from Surabaya to Madakaripura and Bromo. They can customize the trip. We had kids so decided on sunset instead of sunrise at Bromo. They were able to add on Madakaripura waterfalls as well, which was so awesome. Both places were magical. Our guide Ririn was amazing. She took pictures and made a some great videos. Definitely recommend.

I booked a 4 days private tour with my wife. the tour guide Alfa is very professional and knowledgable, capable of handling incidents and always provide timely advice. I went to Mount Bromo some time ago using the services of Landscape Bromo Tour. As a beginner hiker with very little knowledge about mountains, this trip was an incredibly beautiful experience for me. The air in Bromo was very cool and refreshing, making me feel comfortable staying there. Bromo is vast, and the scenery changes from moment to moment, which makes it truly mesmerizing. We went to Mount Bromo with our family and had an amazing experience. We were picked up around midnight, and the car was very comfortable for the drive to the mountain area. The guide was very helpful throughout the trip and made everything run smoothly. The arrangement was excellent, from hotel pickup, transfer to the jeep, choosing a cozy coffee shop while waiting for sunrise, visiting the crater, and enjoying a delicious breakfast afterward. Everything was well-organized and stress free. Highly recommended for a family trip to Bromo!
We were picked up from the hotel at the agreed time and driven about 2.5 hours to Mount Bromo, where we switched to a Jeep for the last leg of the journey. Throughout the trip, our guide (Alfa) was great as was his school friend (Ridho), who drove us to and from Surabaya. Their English was very good and Alfa was very knowledgeable about the volcano and the local history. He also took a number of photos for us on the way up as well as some group pictures at the top. The nonchalant ones he took as we walked around were particularly good. Overall a fantastic and smooth experience. If we do any more trips from Surabaya, he'll be the first person we contact.
Guide got in touch the afternoon before to explain things and answer any questions. Throughout they were so friendly and approachable, offering to take pictures and asking questions, and offering ideas about things to see and do, but also left me to sleep as well when I was tired whilst travelling. Not a super cheap option, but worth it for the overall experience. Everyone involved was really helpful with all my questions and I was extremely satisfied with the excursion.
We just got back from our Bromo family trip with Landscape Bromo Tour and honestly, it was really AMAZING! Everything was very horraaayyy 😂😂 with the guide faruq. We got picked at midnight and didnt sleep till morning. Haha. T(our kids loved him!). We left around midnight to catch the sunrise, and wow… it was seriously worth it. The view was magical, something we’ll never forget. The jeep ride was so much fun, especially for the kids. We went to the crater, the savanna, and even the whispering sands – every stop felt like a new adventure. If you’re thinking of doing a family trip to Bromo, I highly recommend Landscape Bromo Tour. Super helpful team, great vibes, and they really know how to make the trip family-friendly.
