Grillet paella på en kulgrill er en kulinarisk oplevelse, der blander traditionen med paella med spændingen ved udendørs madlavning. Som retten koger, vil vi også vise dig, hvordan man laver pan con tomat, med andre lokale tapas padrón peber og patatas bravas, og den sydamerikanske drikke clericot, en type sangria, efter en familie opskrift af Victor's mor. Slap af på vores terrasse, nyd udsigten og chat med andre madelskere. Når paellaen er klar, sætter vi os sammen for at nyde hver bid. This was one of the best experiences we had during our 16 days in Europe. The hosts (Victor and Kirra) were welcoming, we had so wonderful conversations, learned some history about Barcelona, and the food and drinks were excellent! I came home with the passion to recreate our dining experience. If you have an opportunity to experience this. I highly recommend it.
I saw Victor and Kira in german television, where there great bbq experience was reported as a “very special hidden gem”. The pictures shown there so lovely, that I started searching for them just the second the video ended and booked an evening with them for my upcoming Barcelona journey. Ans what should I say? Experience was so much better when I ever expected. Victor and Kira are so lovely hosts (and such a cute couple 🤭). With you, you have from roofs unbelievable. The meeting with our guests (in my case two couples from US) is such an enrichment. And the food - no words needed. Trough the whole evening you feel like a VIP who gets a very private service with the best dishes you can imagine. I only can recommend this experience to absolute everybody out there. And finally: Kära Kira, jag hade gärna pratat lite mer med dig på svenska. Kanske nästa gång.
Wonderful place, delicious food and very nice host!
This is a one of a kind dinner experience. Even before we arrived Victoria kept us posted on dinner menus, food preferences, and detailed instructions on how to get to his flat. His penthouse apartment balcony overlooks the city of Barcelona. The view was spectacular. The whole night felt like we were drinking and eating with good friends. Victor is a fabulous chef and his wife was an unbelievable hostess. Victor has traveled to over 120 countries and the entire group (7 of us ) spent the entire evening eating, drinking, and telling travel stories. Thanks Victor for a fantastic evening.
Truly an incredible experience and made my trip to Barcelona even more special. Victor and his family - his wife, Kiira, and his mom, Lola were all superb hosts. I had the luck of being their only guest for the evening, and they made me feel so welcome. The food was amazing and I thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. Amazing experience and couldn't recommend it enough! Truly one of the highlights of my visit.
You can pick from dozens of paella experiences in Barcelona but you’ll NEVER meet people as wonderful as Victor and Kiira. Once I booked the evening, and received an email from Victor, I had a very good feeling about a very special dinner. There was no way to imagine just how special. The moment you walk in their door you can tell you’re in for a treat. A gorgeous penthouse terrace overlooking half the city, an amazing spread of tapas and a step by step of how the dishes are prepared. We had two vegetarians who had the veggie paella and I enjoyed the seafood. Victor made sure to ask about dietary requirements in advance. At least as good as the meal was the company. What an amazing and charming couple. I feel like I’ve made forever friends who I’ll be anxious to visit again someday. In fact, a few nights later they joined us out for some drinks and food in places you won’t find on a tour or in a guide. I couldn’t recommend them more.
It was a unique and interesting experience with a delicious meal (with a menu sequence), great views and great conversations with the nice hosts Kiira and Victor.
An absolutely fantastic experience. An evening with Victor and Kiira shouldn’t be missed! Phenomenal hosts and wonderful company. I would strongly recommend this to EVERYONE visiting Barcelona. I’m sure I’ll not have a more enjoyable meal.
