Located in the very center of Paris Palais Garnier is a gem not to be missed during your Parisian vacation.

During this private tour you will learn about many anecdotes and scandals hidden behind the history of this French landmark, appreciate the jaw dropping interior and understand why Palais Garnier was the place where to be if you were part of the city upper social class in the XIX century.

Furthermore, there will be plenty of photos to be taken, secrets to be unveiled and a Phantom to be found.

* be aware the Auditorium and the backstage are not accessible to the public. They are spaces only reserved for Opera’s professionals.

Wonderful tour

If I could give Claudia 10 stars I would! I booked him through viator after a different tour company canceled my booking. He was available on the only day we could go while in Paris and had good ratings. I knew the tour would be wonderful when he reached out to update me on the tour timing a few days before. I mentioned to him visiting the Opera House was so important for me right now, while going through treatment for cancer, and he was so empathetic. He was very knowledge, gave us lots and lots of info and, if we had a question that he did not know the answer to, he was honest in telling us he didn’t know. He was the perfect blend of informative, friendly, and funny. He was so great that I asked if he was available to give us a tour for the Louvre a few days later and he accommodated!! Would highly, HIGHLY recommend you book Claudio, or his company, for any of the tours they offer!!

An incredible and insightful experience

The tour was fantastic! The guide, Claudio, is very knowledgeable and charismatic, which made the experience even better! This tour is a must if you’re coming to Paris ;)

Must do!

We had an excellent tour with Claudio. He was easy to meet up with and made the opera house come alive with his stories. We travelled with two teenage boys and everyone really liked it. The opera house was a sight to behold. Definitely worth it!

Wonderful tour and guide of Palais Garnier Paris Opera House.

Claudio was extremely personable and friendly. He provided clear instructions for meeting in advance and welcomed us upon arrival. He was thoughtful, tailoring the tour to our needs and wants of the experience and we are so appreciative that he was able to elaborate on the history of the Palais Garnier Paris Opera House. This is a beautiful building and a fete of architecture for the time. A must see!!

Outstanding

This place was my favorite. The guide helped with so much details I felt like I was listening to music and seeing people in seats.

A Day to Remember

Our private Opera Garnier tour with Claudio was the highlight of our Paris trip. The building itself is breathtaking, but Claudio made it unforgettable—his storytelling, humor, and passion brought every corner to life. He tailored the tour perfectly to our pace and interests, making us feel like insiders rather than visitors. Claudio’s depth of knowledge is matched only by his ability to make history engaging and accessible for everyone, whether you’re an opera lover or simply curious. This is not just a tour—it’s an experience that will stay with you long after you’ve left Paris. If you want an experience that blends history, legend, and sheer beauty, book Claudio—you’ll leave enchanted.
