The online class features lots of technical advice, cooking tips and tricks. if some of the ingredients you need aren’t available, don’t worry, just send us a message, and we’ll offer you solutions and alternatives.
Vegans and vegetarians are welcome to participate.
After class, you’ll be able to repeat the recipe again on your own.
The course runs on Zoom app, It's completely free to download.

Let Your Tastebuds Travel Learn to cook Thai food in the comfort of your own kitchen, with real-time expert advice from a Thai-Akha instructor. Discover the culture and cuisine of the Akha, an indigenous hill tribe of Southeast Asia, with the help of your native host. We have successfully run a cooking school in Chiang Mai, Thailand for more than six years, hosting more than 30,000 students from all over the world. Now we are offering our coursework online through a virtual, hands-on cooking class that you can enroll in anywhere in the world. An English-speaking instructor from Thai-Akha Kitchen will guide you through traditional Thai-cooking techniques, sharing insight into Thai and Akha heritage along the way. The class is suitable for beginners, but can also be tailored to chefs who know their way around the kitchen and want to learn to cook something new straight from the source. The instructor is a friendly, well-traveled, and knowledgeable chef with firsthand insight into Thai and Akha history. Welcome! to discover the culture and cuisine of the Akha, an indigenous hill tribe of Southeast Asia, with the help of your native host.

タイのみならずチェンマイ料理やあいさつ、アカ族の料理や食べ物など、文化や歴史もさりげなく教えて貰えてとても楽しい教室でした。 Not only Thai cooking, but also Chiang Mai culture, greetings, Akha cuisine, and traditional foods were naturally woven into the class. We also learned bits of local culture and history along the way, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a truly fun and memorable class.

This cooking class was amazing, would recommend to anyone! It was great to learn more about thai cooking, especially about the akha people and their traditions. Class was very professional and organised, easy to follow and our teacher was really funny and helpful. Food was delicious and getting to keep a recipe book was such a nice touch.
My son and daughter have this class to me as a Fathers Day gift and they and their spouses joined me and my wife in the class. Our instructor was Niti. She could not have been more kind, patient, and friendly. She knows how to keep three different couples on time and on task. We will be back for more. Best of all the dish (Khao Soi Soup) was delicious and tailorable to each person’s taste and heat (spicy) tolerance.
We absolutely loved this activity in Chiang Mai 👩🍳 We learnt a lot, the food was fantastic and we had a wonderful time. Aon was a great host and we’d highly recommend it for a great evening!
