I spent two weeks in Italy and can easily say that the Bevagna walking tour and wine tasting/lunch at La Fonte with Daniele was the highlight of my trip. The weather, picturesque scenery, delicious wine, olive oil, lunch, and conversation left me wondering when I can visit again. Daniele is personable, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. La Fonte handled the shipping logistics for my purchases making it super convenient to enjoy a taste of Italy from home. Highly recommend!

My Dad and I spent the day on a wine tour in Bevagna with Daniele as our guide. We had an amazing time, thoroughly enjoying the food, wine, and company. Daniele was very knowledgeable and personable. His conversational style is easy going, friendly, and highly informative as he shares his knowledge of the local culture, people, and winemaking. We had a great time visiting two wineries in Bevagna, welcomed by the owners / winemakers, tasting the local wine, enjoying a homemade lunch and beautiful hillside views all around us. It's clear we benefited from the relationship Daniele had built with the key people at the wineries. Now we look forward to receiving our selection of white, red and sweet wine that we most enjoyed in the tasting and had shipped home! Brian
While I travel to Perugia regularly, I had never done a wine tour until my three sisters visited. What a wonderful experience to share with them! Daniele is the perfect host, the wine and food were excellent, and the price, reasonable. Daniele went out of his way to insure that we all had an enjoyable time. (I'm a vegetarian but ate as well as my sisters!) I would highly recommend this opportunity to experience some of the cultural culinary and wine traditions of Umbria.
Excellent wineries, and an absolutely fantastic host that made the whole day fun. This was hands-down our favorite part of our vacation.
Amazing tour! Booked the Umbria Wine Lovers and ended up as a private tour for two. Daniele was a great guide and driver. Took us to two family run wineries where we had 5-6 tastings at each, as well as a delicious lunch at the second place. Both of the wineries had an exceptional knowledge and great English to show us the winery and explain the wines. Would highly recommend!
It was a delightful private tour with great food and amazing food. Our guide was great! He picked us up and dropped us off near our rental.
