   Ephesus Ancient City

   Meet your guide in front of the Kusadasi Port Passenger Terminal or your hotel in Kusadasi. Drive to the field. See the TEMPLE OF ARTEMIS, one of the wonders of the ancient world. So a visit to EPHESUS is a visit to one of the best preserved ancient cities in the world. Ancient historians believed that Ephesus was founded by the Amazons, but it is now believed to have been the Hittite city of Apasas. With your guide, you'll see the Odeion, where the advisory council held its meetings, and the Roman baths, as well as many other columns, monuments, and ruins, including the Celsus Library and the Great Theater of Ephesus. On the way to Kusadasi, enjoy the scenery or the opportunity to go shopping.
