Cappadocia Balloon Flight over Goreme National Park

From the moment of the reservation, they assisted me with payment options to pay the remaining balance in cash on the day of the flight. In addition, they followed up to ensure I could make my reservation. I was part of a party of seven, and this was the only company that could accommodate us. From pickup to flying, the crew was helpful and experienced. It is not the cheapest one, but security and experience do not have a price.

Wow!! What a great experience. Everything was exactly as described, the ride was smooth, the group was great and the operators were awesome! We did 1st ascent and were one of the first balloons up. Go to see the sunrise, valley and cruise around to see the 150+ balloons fly around. Our operator was skilled and performed a couple cool moves. Overall a once in a lifetime experience that was seamless from start to finish - and no asking for extra money or demanding reviews like so many of our other experiences in Istanbul.

The views were amazing, we took many videos and photos. It was a nice, wonderful and safe flight. We really enjoyed the free breakfast and celebratory toast after. This is a must when visiting Cappadocia!

The hot air balloon flight at sunrise over Göreme and the surrounding valleys is undeniably part of the mass tourism industry. It is difficult to describe otherwise an event that, daily and for several months a year, lifts between 4000 and 5000 tourists from all corners of the planet into the air. And yet, few other experiences can claim to create such magic as that which all participants in this event undoubtedly feel. The spectacle is of course on the ground—with an exceptional view of all possible and imaginable geological formations—but also in the sky, which sees the sun rise over Cappadocia and a good hundred balloons rise into the air. Our experience with Discovery Balloons was in any case a perfect success: pickup at the hotel (even though it was located about ten km from the takeoff point), nice breakfast, perfectly well-oiled organization, and above all an excellent and very friendly pilot, Furkan!
