Loved this trip! It is a long drive but has plenty of stops and when you arrive to the Cappadocian area, you know it's been worth it straight away. It's a location like no other and each view point of the area is incredible. The guide is lovely and patient, ensuring you know what's involved and talking you through options. The driver was great travelling that distance with care. Couple of the shops on the way back to try get you to spend which were of no interest to us but knew they were on the itinerary. We took the optional: - horse ride and as novices we felt safe and well instructed. It was good to be doing an activity in the midst of Cappadocia on beautiful horses. €55 so a bit expensive but we wanted the experience. - sunset view point is stunning. €15 and got there as one of the first groups so we got lots of photos early and settled for a good spot to see the sunset. - hot air balloon view points on a jeep safari. This was perfect. Our driver took us right next to the hot air balloons being filled and start their ascent and then drove us to various view points and in the Jeeps was able to miss traffic and take us off road which was a fun ride. The view points incredible and getting to see the balloons together I think was magical. So pleased we did this. €55 well spent. We opted for the cave hotel and again, worth every penny. Beautiful hotel and a real experience. Lovely breakfast! Tea was nice too but set meal and not good for vegetarians so contact your guide early if you don't eat meat. If you can cope with a long journey, I'd recommend this trip. Cappadocia is beautiful too and the town with the hotel in has many shops, restaurants and pubs. You don't have long there really but after tea it's worth a walk around and a few drinks out.
Excellent value for money. We saw all the main attractions in Capadoccia. The drivers and the guide, Ekrem (sp) were very courteous and professional. Ekrem did a wonderful job explaining history and geology of the area. We stayed in a beautiful hotel. The whole trip seemed like a fairy tale. Highly recommended
Saw all the sights of Cappadocia. Good food. Child-friendly. Free water on the bus and a party on the way back. Lunch can be optionally added, as well as sunrise or sunset.
