What you'll do
Mary Queen of Scots led a dramatic, bloody life saturated in murder, deceit and treachery. Throughout her life Mary was repeatedly deceived by a group of immoral Scottish Nobles. So ruthless were their acts they even murdered her best friend David Rizzio, by stabbing him over 50 times as she watched helplessly. Towards the end of her life she sought refuge, trusting in her cousin Queen Elizabeth I. She was lured to her death, as Elizabeth coldly ordered her execution. Mary met her tragic end, beheaded by three gruesome strikes of a blunt axe. The brutality of Mary’s life gave rise to a vengeful spirit. Following countless unexplained deaths, authorities closed Sandyford Castle and erased its existence from history. The haunted castle has lay derelict and abandoned for centuries. You are part of a group of spiritual mediums who are determined to uncover the secrets of Mary’s life. You have ignored all warnings and remain resolute in your determination to lay her malefic ghost to rest. Will you succeed, or will you become another victim of the castle?

Really difficult but we had a few refreshments before hand. Good fun and staff were really lovely and informative. Would do again though I think an hour wasnt enough time.
We did the Ghost of Mary Queen of Scots escape room and it was the best escape room we’ve done. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed. The puzzles were inventive. If you like escape rooms, I highly recommend this one.
This escape room was fun for our mixed-age family (3 young teenagers, parents, and grandparents). We needed (and received) hints for some puzzles, others were not so challenging, but we needed the full hour to complete the game. Our biggest challenge was listening to each other and working together! Lucy was a good host and gave us a thorough briefing before the game started. I would recommend this for any group who like to have fun together.
great fun and because there were lots of clues that could be worked on at the same time, everyone could get involved. definitely recommend !
We’ve done a few escape rooms in Glasgow and this is definitely one of the better ones. The puzzles were challenging but solvable and we had a great time. Our game master Amber was fantastic and did a great job of knowing when we might need a little help. Her clues were helpful but didn’t take away the fun of solving whatever we were working on. We’ll be back to try the other rooms.
Fanastically fun beginning to our team Christmas night out with The Ghost of Mary Queen of Scots.. I didn't expect to enjoy it so much. Edi could not have been a better Game Master. If you are wondering about going, GO! Special thanks to the team for opening for us on a Tuesday.
We had a great time, a really fun room and Xian was so welcoming and helpful. The puzzles were difficult to be interesting, but never did it feel frustrating.
We had a great time on the Ghost of Mary Quuen of Scots room experience-our host was brill and we escaped with her help and 1 minute to spare!
