Cruising through the floating market on a private boat was such a fun experience. The complimentary coconut ice cream and mango sticky rice were delicious treats, and big thanks to Adrian for keeping the whole journey smooth and effortless!
It’s a great market with really friendly guide, and the boat ride Noc set up for us was super interesting! We got to see local houses, temples, everyday life, and even huge monitor lizards swimming in the river. I honestly could have spent another 2-3 hours just taking it all in. Huge thanks to Noc for taking such good care of us!
We specifically wanted to visit the markets for Thai food and snacks, and this tour delivered! Bow took us to see the train market first, which was so cool to experience for the first time. But the floating market was absolute heaven for us so many delicious eats that you could never try them all in one day! Getting to ride the boat through the canals made it even better. I wanted to visit a floating market for a long time, and finally I got to go today! We booked a tour with Poppy. The first place we went to was the market that the train passes through, and the second was the floating market. The floating market was so colorful! I'm so happy to have seen it. Everything on the tour was great; the guide was wonderful, and we even got to ride a boat. Poppy even gave us coconut ice cream, which was delicious! Noc was our guide, and we were so happy to have her with us today. She was amazing, spoke very good English, and knew the route really well. We were lucky to have her because we probably would have got lost if we had come on our own. Everything about the tour was great. We visited two different markets with lots of things to see and buy, and the boat ride was really fun. Seeing vendors selling things from their boats was something we had never experienced before. The pick-up and drop-off were smooth, the van was comfortable, and the driver drove safely. Everything was well organised. Thank you so much for a lovely day!
I expected this tour to be mostly about taking photos, but it turned out to be a really enjoyable morning. At the Railway Market, Poppy showed us how the vendors prepare before the train arrives and helped us find a safe place with a clear view. Seeing the market return to normal only seconds after the train passed was probably the most interesting part for me. The boat ride at the Floating Market was lively, with sellers calling out from both sides of the canal and plenty of things to see along the way. Poppy kept the conversation natural, shared useful information, and never made the tour feel too formal. I would book with her again.
We had a lovely morning tour with Poppy. She was friendly, kind, and very easy to talk to. The railway market was fun to see, especially the moment when the train came through and the sellers moved everything back so quickly. Poppy helped us know where to stand and explained what was happening, so we could enjoy it without feeling confused. After that, we went to the floating market and took a boat through the canals. It was lively, colorful, and full of food, small shops, and local life. We also enjoyed the simple brunch during the tour, which was a nice part of the morning. Thank you Poppy for taking good care of us and making the trip easy and enjoyable. It was a nice way to see something different outside Bangkok, and we came back with good memories and many photos.
