Whether you’re discovering your first feelings DE gliding or want to progress, take part in a 1h30 group course on the iconic spot DE la Côte des Basques in Biarritz.
EN supervised by our state-educated and passionate instructors, you benefit from structured instruction, adapted to the tides and conditions of the day to evolve safely.
Groups are organized according to age and level, in order DE promote progressive progression and attentive support for each.
Material is provided: just come with your motivation and we will take care of the rest.

What you'll do
Welcome to the school 15 minutes before the start of the course to equip yourself: suit, lycras, board, etc. We have changing rooms available to change. For 30 minutes, warm up and deposit on the sand, to acquire and repeat the movements. For an hour, practice in the water supervised by our instructors!

Booked 3 group lessons for my 18 yr old son. Great communication, all teachers super friendly especially Marine who spoke English and was so energetic and kind. One day the lesson had to be postponed due to water quality but this was communicated via WhatsApp. Great surf school!
Had 5 days (90 minutes per day) with them recently. We (mid 50’s Dad, 16 year old and 14 year old) joined their groups of approximately 8. We were all first time surfers. Couldn’t be happier with all the training and support received. We sadly don’t speak French and it wasn’t a problem at all. We received a text the afternoon before each session confirming the following day meet times. These were between 7.45 am and 11.15 am depending on the tides, this was perfect, as it allowed us to plan the rest of our day around the surfing. I would 100% recommend this surf school. The 16 and 14 year old picked it up very quickly, standing up on day one, at the end they were taken out further from shore to pick up the more exhilarating waves. Hard to pick out individuals from the whole team but Leo, Damien and Noah were all great with us and patient with me, we hope to come back again.
Our children (ages 7 and 9) went to their first surf lesson ever and in the very first lesson at Biarritz Surf Training they rode the waves all the way to the beach! This thanks to the coaches, especially Léo(!), at Biarritz Surf Training who work brilliantly with younger kids and help them surf quickly and have fun on the waves! Smooth booking and friendly staff!!
Alicen is an amazing surf coach! Her enthusiasm, clear instructions, and supportive attitude made learning to surf an incredible experience. The training club has great facilities and a welcoming community. Highly recommend!

It is impossible to stay in Biarritz without taking a few surf lessons! We had an excellent time with this team that knew how to create a real group atmosphere, mixing good humor, mutual aid, and solidarity, whatever the weather conditions. Sun, clouds, wind, fickle waves... we went through it all, except for losing our motivation! Jarod is passionate, a good teacher, and always encouraging. He knows how to make everyone feel confident, even those who spend more time talking to the ocean than staying standing on their board. His advice was invaluable... and his status as "official hottie" was validated without reservation by Mihaela 😉. A big thank you to the whole team for their welcome, their energy, and their good humor. We are leaving with very good memories, some sore muscles, lots of fits of laughter, and the desire to come back. We hope to return soon with our son for more lessons. With a little luck, he will be more gifted than his parents... which shouldn't be too difficult! 😄 See you soon and thanks again to the whole team! 🌊🏄♂️🏄♀️
Great experience to try with the family. Théo, our instructor, was perfect from the beginning for the theory to the practice. Goal achieved in 1 hour, we all managed to stand up on the board! I highly recommend it
